PRERANA, the Jagulur Unit of Carmel Jyothi NGO today gifted our Child Labour Bridge School children with some new plates, tumblers and ice cream. We thank Frs. William Miranda and Anthon Souz for their generosity.

The Tahsildar Mr Raghavendra Rao, in collaboration with Carmel Jyothi Child Labour Bridge School conducted an awareness program on the eradication of Child Labour at Huvinahadagali Taluk Office. Our Children and Fr. Denzil were present for the program on 3rd October 2019

On completion of six months tailoring training 30th of September 2019, in Devikere village, Jagalur taluk. 25 women who became self employed, express their feelings of gratefulness to CARMEL JYOTHI. Seen in the Video is Rev. Fr. William Miranda, Director of Prerana, Jagaluru.

Three days residencial seminar from 28th to 30th September 2019, was organised in Prerana social centre for the Asha workers of Davanagere district. Rev. Fr. Charles Serrao. Carmelite Provincial of Karnataka-Goa province inaugurated the seminar. Mr. Somashekar, State President of Asha workers, Mr. Manjunath, District president were present. 100 Asha workers participated in the seminar.

Prerana, an unit of Carmel Jyothi Trust in Jagulur, Davangere is actively involved in fostering the education of young minds.
